Kathleen Brewer has been practicing exclusively in the area of employment law for more than thirteen years. She has
litigated cases involving nearly every aspect of employment law, including: race, religious, gender, national origin and disability
discrimination; breach of contract; ERISA benefits; wage and hour law; retaliation; harassment; family and medical leave;
and trade secret misappropriation.
Ms. Brewer graduated Phi Beta
Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University in New York City (1985). At Pepperdine University School of Law she enjoyed
a full dean's merit scholarship and academic honors, graduating in the top ten percent of her class (1991). She has been
a member of the State Bar of California since 1991, and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the National Employment
Lawyers Association and the Labor and Employment Law Section of the California State Bar. Ms. Brewer is also a member of the
California State Bar Committee on the Administration of Justice.
She
is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is admitted to practice before the California State Courts, the
United States District Court for the Central District of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States
Supreme Court.
